      College major(s) and minor(s)

Maybe not very true to type in what I have been drawn to academically (i.e. - more analytical pursuits than "feeling" pursuits). In that way, I relate to charms21 (I'm very close to the border between I and E, by the way).

      Anyway, here's the rundown:

Undergrad: Mechanical Engineering, History, and Sociology

      Grad: Big Data IT

      College major(s) and minor(s)

Studying for my PhD in BioPsychology (Neuroscience)

I also do Marketing with Copywriting (Direct Response) and Data Science (R/Python for Data mining).

Hated working in door to door sales, call center telemarketing and customer service at restaurants. I absolutely suck at Fe.

      But intellectual work is heroin.

Im more of a Fi INTJ according to Dario Nardis model of INTJ subtype (im more social > logic).

      College major(s) and minor(s)

I majored in history, minored in German/English.

About that though: as an ethnic Asian, it was natural for me to go into some kind of natural science and stay home...become a doctor or dentist...but it bored me.

I did history because I said: in history you always learn something new...but in natural science you do the same thing over and over again. Learn and apply.

There is a kind of science which lets you be more thoughtful: for example in theoretical physics, but very few people do that.

Being an Asian...I should mention: I emigrated to the West when I was 7. Math in Asia was many years ahead of math in the West. When we migrate West, we just get perfect on every math test throughout school.

But: even though Asians are good at the natural sciences, I heard of this thing called the "Asian creativity deficit."

That map of MBTI stereotypes said: Japan: ISTJ China: ISTJ South Korea: ESTJ. They have that different culture where. They learn English...but they learn it by Rote learning. They learn now to understand and speak a little, but they just think very differently. You can teach them how to speak English, but teaching them how to think English is very different.

England and the USA had this multi-party state...there is a governing party, an opposition party, etc. So they have a long tradition of argument and debate.

      In China, it is different.

Even in Japan...they have a multi-party system...they copied and pasted the American constitution...but one party has always dominated politics in Japan.

In the West, we are used to having a culture of argument. In the East, they do not have such a culture.

So I did history, because there are endless arguments in English...it is a kind of philosophy. Classes I have also taken along the way include: philosophy. literature, theology, the theory of music, etc.
